The 32m2 footprint was designed as an affordable fast build option for clients eligible for the kiwisaver homestart grant. The house had to be functional for a young couple and incorporate an office space which could double as an extra sleeping space when required. The loft bed also has ample storage space over the bathroom below. High ceilings create the feel of space over the small footprint.

This ‘BIG little house’ faces North to maximise solar gain and utilises cutting edge vapour control technology in order to remove the need for additional heating.
